Baume & Mercier was founded in 1830 they are Swiss luxury watchmakers. Its subsidiary conglomerate is Richemont. Baume & Mercier were brothers who opened a watch dealership in Swiss Jura.  They established a branch in London in 1851 and it's under the name "Baume Brothers". It became the first to specialize in manufacturing wristwatches, which in particular models are in unconventional shapes. Baume & Mercier was awarded the highest international distinction for watchmaking excellence that is the Geneva Seal.
