Rolex once again tops list of world’s most reputable brands
The Boston-based Reputation Institute and Forbes magazine have one again named Rolex as the most reputable company in the world. The ranking lists the top 100 most reputable companies in the world, based on feedback from some 170,000 respondents in the know. Rolex topped this list in 2016 and this year, outscoring the competition in the perception of its performance and the quality of its goods and services.
The Swiss watchmaker scored 80.38, which is what Forbes and the Reputation Institute call an overall excellent score. In fact, this is the first time a top-ranking firm has achieved such a strong overall score, meaning Rolex managed the difficult feat of beating itself. Who else is on this list? Well, no other traditional watchmaker made the list at all but plenty of global powers did, including Lego, Disney, Canon and Google.
