Watch by East; London, England, c. 1660; dia. 1¾” (4.45 cm.).
This watch shows further signs of the modern period. The hand, although single, is more delicately made and is set by a key. The watch is circular and has a glass over the dial, while below figurer VI is a tiny catch for holding the movement in the case. The chapter ring is slender, suggesting the earlier part of the century, but is very legible.
