This fine company dates back to 1833, when Antoine LeCoultre established his watchmaking workshop in Le Sentier, Switzerland. In 1847, LeCoultre produced its first movement with a crown winding and setting system, eliminating the need for watch keys. In 1903, the company unveiled the world’s flattest pocket watch caliber, and at 1.38 mm thick, it remains an unbrocken record.
